Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Related Field; or Associate Degree with BSN pursuit within 2 years.
• Typically requires 3 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care.
• RN licensed in the state; BLS certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provides work direction to clinical and support staff for efficient patient flow.
• Delivers direct patient care by nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
• Coordinates patient care team needs and promotes communication among departments.
• Trains and mentors staff; assigns and reviews work with unit leadership.
• Assists with HR tasks and staffing adjustments in collaboration with unit leadership.
• Monitors quality of care and compliance with hospital policies.
• Provides input to budget and ensures supplies and equipment are available.
• Collaborates with management on new programs and vendor coordination.
• Demonstrates age-specific care knowledge and data assessment.
