Job summary

Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC) is seeking a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse. You will deliver direct patient care, perform assessments, and collaborate with the care team to implement and evaluate plans.

The role offers a $40.55 per hour minimum hiring rate with higher rates for experienced nurses and up to a $7 shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends. Eligible candidates may receive a $26,000 hiring incentive and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Minimum of 5 years-Nursing (Required).
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania.
• Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Provide comprehensive assessments, plan of care and discharge planning.
