Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center Muncy seeks an Inpatient Registered Nurse for a 36-hour weekly schedule with rotation shifts. Eligible candidates can receive a hiring incentive up to $24,000 and a minimum starting rate of $41.50 per hour, with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, coordinating the care team, and ensuring high quality patient experiences throughout hospitalization.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of the patient.
• Promotes adaptive responses of patient/family to achieve the highest level of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
• Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff; delivers direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Ensures best patient/family experience by optimizing all interactions and discharge planning.
