Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution; 2+ years of experience.
• If hired without BSN or MSN, must enroll in BSN/MSN within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• Active Ohio RN License; may be required to obtain other state licensure; foreign graduates must have license validated through TruMerit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards; support leadership in compliance efforts.
• Monitor safety and departmental policies; ensure certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled timely.
• Collaborate with managers, nurse council, and magnet representatives to share safety best practices.
• Document plan of care, care delivered, and patient/family outcomes; apply age-specific considerations.
