Job summary

Emerus, partnered with ChristianaCare, seeks a registered nurse to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care for high-acuity inpatients during night shifts. The role requires the ability to manage cardiac infusions and monitor complex conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, support ventilated patients, ensure privacy and infection control, and perform admissions and transfers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
• Current PA RN licensure without sanctions.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS strongly preferred.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care for high-acuity inpatients.
• Follow physician orders and ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Manage cardiac, hypertensive and insulin infusions; interpret rhythms.
• Support advanced respiratory therapies including BiPAP/high-flow oxygen.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and telemedicine providers.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers and maintain infection control.
