Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital is seeking a Night Shift Inpatient RN. The role offers a $41.50 minimum hiring rate with up to $7 shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, plus relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Eligible applicants will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in a busy Emergency Department setting, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) with BLS certification.
• Emergency department experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Promotes adaptive responses of patient and family to achieve high-quality care and safety.
• Coordinates patient care with staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments and medications following policy.
• Evaluates nursing interventions and revises plans based on patient response.
• Collaborates with physicians and ancillary staff to resolve patient needs.
• Solves equipment-related issues and ensures safe handling of devices.
• Participates in unit-based quality and safety education and teamwork.
