WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking an RN leader to deliver high‑quality inpatient care. You will apply the nursing process, provide expert clinical judgment, and supervise care provided by others within the unit.

The role emphasizes interprofessional collaboration, evidence‑based practice, and ongoing professional development. Applicants should have BSN or higher preferred and be prepared for CAPE ladder participation.

Formación

• Current RN license to practice in the applicable state or eNLC multi-state license.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Three years RN experience with BSN or five years with ADN/diploma.
• CAPES program professional development certification.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development of interprofessional plans of care.
• Provide Evidence‑Based Practice care to patients and families.
• Define outcomes aligned with cost, clinical effectiveness, and team goals.
• Identify communication strategies among patients, families, and community.
• Provide leadership to establish and sustain collaborative relationships.
• Guide strategies to enhance care delivery and patient experience.
• Collaborate with health system teams to improve quality and safety.
• Participate in new process development and system improvements.
• Mentor team members and support nurses in change leadership.
