WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a Registered Nurse for inpatient care. You will provide professional nursing care in an acute setting, applying the nursing process and independent judgment to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Role requires strong communication, collaboration with the care team, and commitment to lifelong learning, with opportunities for CAPE progression and mentorship of new staff.

Formación

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or eNLC licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Two years of registered nursing experience.
• BSN or higher preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize patient diagnosis, problems and goals with the care team.
• Serve as resource for patient and family learning needs.
• Coordinate with interprofessional team to manage changing priorities.
• Act as independent team member to provide safe, quality care.
• Mentor colleagues in clinical knowledge, skills and judgement.
• Participate in developing and improving care planning systems.
• Lead interprofessional teams to collaborate and consult effectively.
• Contribute to policies that promote patient health and safety.
