Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican in Belvidere, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 100% FTE role with an 8:00am–4:30pm shift at UW Health Belvidere Hospital. The job combines inpatient/outpatient care with opportunities in oncology and infusion therapy, and includes a strong benefits package.

Requirements include IL RN licensure, HS diploma or higher, infusion therapy coursework, BLS certification, and CRNI preferred within three years of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing Program.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois.
• Infusion Nurse (CRNI) certification within three years of hire preferred.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required.

Qualifications

Work Experience

• One year of Inpatient, Outpatient Hospital, or Oncology patient care experience. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required


• Completion of Fundamentals of Infusion Therapy education course available through Infusion Nurse’s Society or equivalent. Course must be completed within 90 days of hire. The manager will review and approve equivalent education course certificate. Required


• Infusion Nurse (CRNI) certification within three years of hire. Preferred


• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
