Job summary

UW Health Belvidere Hospital in Belvidere, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 100% FTE, standard day shift. The role includes inpatient and infusion therapy responsibilities, with opportunities for tuition assistance, on-site day care, and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license, a relevant nursing degree, and at least one year of inpatient or oncology care experience. Completion of infusion therapy training within 90 days is required; CRNI is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Illinois required.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of inpatient, outpatient hospital, or oncology patient care experience required.
• Completion of Fundamentals of Infusion Therapy education course within 90 days of hire required.
• Infusion Nurse (CRNI) certification within three years of hire preferred.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification required.

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 8:00am-4:30pm, you will work at UW Health Belvidere Hospital 1625 S State Street Belvidere IL.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing Program. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• One year of Inpatient, Outpatient Hospital, or Oncology patient care experience. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required
• Completion of Fundamentals of Infusion Therapy education course available through Infusion Nurse's Society or equivalent. Course must be completed within 90 days of hire. The manager will review and approve equivalent education course certificate. Required
• Infusion Nurse (CRNI) certification within three years of hire. Preferred
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
