Job summary

Geisinger is seeking Graduate Inpatient RNs and Experienced RNs for a variety of units in our system. Eligible candidates may receive a $21,000 or $26,000 hiring incentive, along with a starting rate of $40.55 per hour and shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate Nurses and Experienced RNs are hired into Geisinger units listed below.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN State license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work in a clinical, fast-paced environment with patient care emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Perform assessments and plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care and safety.
• Promote teamwork and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
