Job summary

Uniontown Hospital, an inpatient health system, seeks an RN Level I to deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process within an inpatient setting.

The role requires an active RN license (state or eNLC) and BLS within 30 days of hire, with a BSN preferred. The incumbent will work under supervision, participate in care planning, and engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where services are provided or valid multi-state license via eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient’s needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Provides education based on learning needs and involvement of family.
• Promotes effective communication among interprofessional team members & healthcare consumers.
• Influences policy to promote safe patient care.
• Utilizes resources in providing care, especially in sensitive situations.
• Participates in developing strategies to promote healthy communities.
