Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a registered nurse for per diem, varied shifts at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford. The role offers day/evening shifts with on-call holidays and a strong benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, and a path for career advancement.

Qualified candidates hold an associate degree in nursing or higher, have an active Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and may pursue specialty certifications.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
• Associate's degree in nursing. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
• 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire. Preferred

Work Schedule

Per Diem, varied schedule. Day/Evening shift, a minimum of 8 hours per pay period, 1 call holiday annually, with additional shifts scheduled as needed based on department needs and availability. You will work at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime
• On-call pay
