Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a per diem registered nurse to join our inpatient nursing team. The role offers day/evening shifts with a minimum 8 hours per pay period, on-call holiday coverage, and supplemental shift opportunities based on department needs.

Applicants should have an accredited nursing degree (ADN, BSN, or MSN) and an active RN license in Illinois. BLS/CPR is required; specialty certification is preferred. Competitive benefits and career growth are provided.

• Associate's degree in nursing.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.

Work Schedule

Per Diem, varied schedule. Day/Evening shift, a minimum of 8 hours per pay period, 1 call holiday annually, with additional shifts scheduled as needed based on department needs and availability. You will work at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
Overtime
On-call pay

Qualifications
