Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, identifies outcomes, plans care and evaluates progress.
• Directs care and utilizes assistants appropriately.
• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians and staff to coordinate delivery.
• Contributes to governance, committees and unit projects.
• Documents patient responses and updates the plan of care.
• Uses evidence to guide nursing practice.
