Geisinger is seeking an inpatient registered nurse to join our team in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The role offers a hiring incentive up to $26,000 and a minimum hiring rate of $41.41 per hour, with additional shift differentials up to $7 for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BSN and 2 years of experience (YOE) required.
• BSN program enrollment or related Bachelor's degree acceptable as alternative.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred for advanced practice or leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care along with supervising assigned personnel.
• Manages performance, staffing, and scheduling on the unit.
• Communicates policies and patient care information to staff and patients.
• Supports Magnet philosophy: healthy work environment, professional growth, and family-centered care.
• Mentors staff, fosters evidence-based practice, and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Ensures efficient use of resources and timely incident follow-ups.
