Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking an RN 2 to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population in our unit. You will collaborate with the health care team, document care, and educate patients and families for post-discharge success.

The role requires completing a nursing program, current NH RN license and BLS; one year of clinical nursing experience is preferred. We support patient-centered care in a safe, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse with NH Board of Nursing licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for a defined patient group within the unit.
• Gathers data through history and physical assessment; interprets information to meet patient needs.
• Develops and revises the plan of care; documents progress and outcomes.
• Directs and supervises delegated nursing activities; teaches patients and families.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care; administers medications.
• Leads the health care team and serves as a resource for the shift; precepts new staff.
