Concord Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) 2 for an inpatient specialty area. The RN 2 assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for a defined patient population within the unit, applying life-span development knowledge and clinical judgment to meet age-specific needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the care team, adherence to organizational standards, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Assess data through history taking and physical examination to plan interventions.
• Develop and revise the patient’s plan of care as needs change.
• Document care and progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to ensure holistic care.
• Administer medications per policy and standards.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care.
• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient’s plan of care to meet needs.
• Documents care and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patient and family about the plan of care and post-discharge care.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administers medications to patients.
