Job summary

OrthoIndy Hospital South in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse Inpatient to provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care on the inpatient unit.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Indiana RN license, BLS and ACLS, and 1-2 years of experience. Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, three 12-hour shifts and 2-3 weekend days every six weeks.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse with the State of Indiana required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement and evaluate nursing care plans for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and supervise non-licensed staff.
• Deliver direct patient care including medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document all patient care activities accurately.
• Support discharge planning and patient education.
