CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Coder Lead-Inpatient to provide leadership and strategic direction for our inpatient coding team. You will drive coding accuracy, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize revenue cycle performance for complex cases.

The role requires advanced inpatient coding credentials (CCS, RHIA, RHIT), DRG methodologies expertise, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• RHIT or RHIA certification required.
• Associate's degree in health information management or related field.
• 3-5 years inpatient facility coding experience in acute-care setting.
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRGs, UHDDS, and Official Coding Guidelines.
• Experience supporting remote or vendor-based coding teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead and mentor a team of inpatient coders and provide escalation support.
• Apply coding expertise to accurately assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes and MS-DRGs.
• Ensure quality and compliance through routine reviews and audits.
• Collaborate with CDI, Quality, Case Management, and Revenue Integrity teams.
• Drive process improvements and track productivity and quality trends.
