Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for a diverse patient population in our inpatient setting. The ideal candidate has prior hospital experience or a strong willingness to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary team.

The role includes routine therapy, diagnostics, arterial blood gas testing as needed, and collaboration with physicians and nurses to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure may be required depending on state; high school diploma or associate degree often preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals.
• Maintains all equipment in working order and provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
