Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide inpatient cardiopulmonary care and related services. The RCP will perform routine therapies, diagnostics, and emergency procedures while maintaining equipment and contributing to patient care teams.

Candidate should hold state licensure, current BLS/ACLS, and have preferred inpatient experience; a high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals.
• Maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
