Job summary

Lifepoint Health's East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Chandler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. The SLP collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient communication and recovery, while ensuring quality care aligned with physician orders and the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible in the state of practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Possess or be eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or be eligible to complete a Clinical Fellowship (CFY).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide care per physician orders and plan of care.
• Evaluate effectiveness of interventions and modify treatment to achieve goals.
• Plan for patient discharges and communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team.
