Job summary

Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital - Gilbert seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a dedicated rehabilitation team. You will assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders, and coordinate care with physicians and therapists in a comprehensive inpatient setting.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current ASHA certification, and CPR certification, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and family education in a supportive

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.

  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; maintain professional standards.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

How you'll contribute
  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.

What we're looking for
  • Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
  • Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.
  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
  • CPR certification required.
