Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo invites you to join as a Speech Pathologist, helping patients overcome speech and communication challenges in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

You will evaluate and tailor treatment plans, document progress, and adjust therapies as needed. We foster growth and recognize small victories that improve patients’ quality of life within a nationwide leader in post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
