Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to provide evidence-based language and speech therapy to patients in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

You will evaluate and treat communication disorders, develop personalized plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Current state licensure and CCC are required; CPR within 30 days is expected; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Celebrate patient progress and victories.
