Job summary

The Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate patients and develop comprehensive speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing plans of care. Services are delivered across the continuum in a cost-conscious, quality-driven environment.

Collaborate with physicians, provide education to patients and families, and document care per departmental guidelines while upholding ethical standards and infection prevention.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• SLP certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) or ARC-BLS options.
• Strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor speech-language therapy treatment plans.
• Assess patients and adjust plans with physician collaboration.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge instructions.
• Document evaluations and sessions per departmental guidelines.
• Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality and infection prevention.
