Job summary

The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Days shift to provide nursing care for physical medicine rehabilitation patients. The role collaborates with an interdisciplinary health care team to coordinate and direct nursing care via the nursing process and ongoing assessment.

Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessments, ensuring quality of care, and educating patients and families to support independence and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current Indiana RN licensure or compact licensure.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment for the rehab population and supports discharge planning.
• Ensures quality of care by adhering to standards and adjusting to patient conditions.
• Promotes patient independence with education on condition and medications.
• Focuses on patient and stakeholder satisfaction in all interactions.
