Job summary

The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) is seeking a Physical Therapist for inpatient/outpatient care for patients aged 15 and older. The role includes evaluating patients, planning evidence-based interventions, and recommending equipment as needed.

Responsibilities include developing patient-centered plans, ensuring medical necessity, communicating with the care team, and supervising assistants. CPR certification and IN licensure are required; a 1-year rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
• IN state license required for Physical Therapist.
• Current CPR certification per AHA standards or ability to obtain within 4 weeks of start date.
• 1 year experience with adult physical rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers PT evaluations for inpatients and outpatients and determines appropriate treatment.
• Develops patient-centered treatment plans based on evaluation and patient goals.
• Ensures treatment plans support medical necessity with evidence-based interventions and outcomes.
• Communicates treatment plans to team members and attends conferences, with physician sign-off as appropriate.
• Charges appropriately for services and documents outcomes measures.
• Provides clinical supervision and delegation of duties to assistants, techs, and students per regulations.
