Job summary

Methodist Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to work at the Main Campus in Jackson, Mississippi. The role entails providing physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehab setting, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates should have a degree in Physical Therapy Assistant, appropriate licensure in Mississippi, and preferably some clinical experience. Strong communication skills and compassion are essential for supporting patients towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in Mississippi.
• Experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services to patients in an Inpatient Rehab setting.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in developing treatment plans.
• Communicate with the Physical Therapist on patient progress.
• Coordinate patient care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Work in a dynamic environment, managing time effectively.
