Qualifications

• Education: Appropriate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current, valid Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Mississippi.
• Certification: American Red Cross BLS.
• Experience: New graduates welcome; clinical experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to patients in an Inpatient Rehab setting.
• Develop, document, and implement treatment plans to promote optimal outcomes for diverse injuries and ages.
• Participate in patient care-team conferences to align therapy goals, progress, and discharge plans.
• Coordinate patient care with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and therapists.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills in a dynamic environment.
• Encourage and inspire patients toward greater independence and recovery.
