Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital; Northwest Arkansas is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Rogers, Arkansas. This full-time, days position supports patient mobility and functional activities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

You'll document progress, maintain clinical records, and help sustain a safe, clean treatment environment. A PTA license in Arkansas and CPR certification are required; prior rehab or acute care experience

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license in good standing in Arkansas.
• CPR certification.
• Previous rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.
• Observe and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment.
• Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented workplace and step in with additional duties as needed.
