Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as directed by the RN including activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, transporting, toileting and ambulating) and maintaining patient safety.
• Performs safety checks, keeps rooms clean and organized, cleans equipment and stocks supplies.
• Delivers nourishments, distributes water, and assists with patient mail and needs; reports changes to the RN.
• Demonstrates effective communication within the health care team and supports a safe workplace.
• Documents in the medical record according to procedures and adheres to safety policies and bloodborne pathogen exposure protocols.
• Assists with equipment management, restraints as directed, and responds to call lights and emergencies.
