Job summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Rehabilitation Specialist for PRN roles. You will coordinate intake, assess admission criteria, and collaborate with rehab leadership to ensure appropriate patient placement and referral growth.

Strong clinical background in inpatient rehab and active licensure are required. You will build relationships with physicians, case managers, and payors, and provide education to staff and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional in a clinical health care specialty.
• Current state licensure or eligible for transfer.
• Graduate of an accredited school in clinical specialty.
• Minimum 2 years recent clinical care experience.
• BCLS certification preferred.
• Pass facility credentialing for FIM within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Clinical experience with inpatient rehabilitation.
• Experience coordinating admissions for rehab patients.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between referral sources and rehab operations.
• Establish relationships with case managers, physicians, payors, and referrals.
• Ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical assessments.
• Coordinate intake and pre-admission screening and document criteria.
• Serve as educational resource to physicians, staff and families.
