Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist to identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates and coordinate timely patient transfers. You will work with rehab leadership to ensure proper patient placement through clinical assessments and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current FL RN Licensure or Compact Licensure (as per Florida requirements)
• Current BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program preferred
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience
• Proficient with computers and data entry

Responsibilities

• Work as a liaison for Inpatient Rehab & Case Management
• Review and assess patient charts for approval of Inpatient Preadmit screening
• Collaborate with insurance companies, medical director, program director, staff, physicians, patients and families
• Assist in growing the facility's rehabilitation services
