Job summary

WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CVSD unit on a full-time basis in Wheeling, WV. The role requires an active RN license (state or eNLC) and BLS certification within 30 days of hire, with preference for BSN.

The RN will provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting, perform comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes. The position includes a sign-on bonus opportunity and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Less than 12 months of nursing experience.
• BSN preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Perform assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Documentations and handoff communications.
• Educate patients based on individual learning needs and cultural considerations.
• Assess safety concerns and incorporate ANA code of ethics into practice.
• Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing workloads and higher acuity patients.
