WVU Medicine seeks an experienced RN to provide high-quality inpatient care, applying nursing process and independent judgment. The role emphasizes leadership, evidence-based practice, and interprofessional collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The position requires BSN or higher, current RN licensure, and CAPE participation. Strong communication, adaptability, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this on-site role within our hospital system.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where services will be provided or multi-state RN license via eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.
• 3 years RN experience if BSN; 5 years if ADN/diploma.
• CAPE program specialty certification from approved listing.

Responsabilités

• Leads development of interprofessional plan of care processes.
• Provides Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) care to patients and caregivers.
• Defines outcomes incorporating cost and clinical effectiveness.
• Identifies communication strategies among patient, family, community and health system.
• Provides leadership to establish and sustain collaborative relationships for safe, quality care.
• Guides interdepartmental strategies to enhance patient care.
• Collaborates to modify care delivery and improve patient experience.
• Participates in developing new organizational processes.
