Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One-year inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
• Current North Carolina State Registered Nurse License required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• CPI Certification preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population.
• Direct the implementation of behavior management programs/plans and supervise staff performance.
• Document patient care and ensure accurate data entry into the master treatment plan.
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families and provide education to staff and patients.
