Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in an inpatient psychiatric setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, therapeutic treatment while documenting care plans and updates.

The role requires NC RN licensure, CPR, and the ability to coordinate care with families and staff. Prior psychiatric experience is preferred, and a valid NC driver's license is needed for certain assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current North Carolina RN license required.
• CPR certification required; CPI certification preferred.
• One year inpatient psychiatric experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Manage patient environments to ensure safety and a therapeutic milieu.
• Direct and supervise staff assignments and monitor performance.
• Document care plans and updates to the master treatment plan.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to support patient education and family involvement.
