Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a psychiatric inpatient setting. The role involves clinical management, milieu safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, directing behavior management programs, documenting care, and ensuring accurate medical records. Current NC RN license, CPR, CPI certification, and a valid NC Driver's License are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One-year inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
• Current North Carolina State Registered Nurse License.
• Current North Carolina Driver’s License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• CPI Certification (Required or preferred).

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population.
• Direct the implementation of behavior management programs/plans and ensure consistent carry-through.
• Make patient & task assignments to subordinates & monitor their performance of duties.
• Provide training & education to staff, patients, families, & others.
• Document patient care, ensure data is accurate, & included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates.
• Work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.
