Oceans Behavioral Hospital Opelousas seeks a qualified Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide nursing care for adults and seniors with anxiety, depression and other mental health issues, under RN supervision. The role emphasizes safe, compassionate, and independent nursing practice within established policies.

You will document findings, support treatment plans, administer medications, assist with ADLs, and communicate clearly with the care team.

Competenze

• Current, valid LVN/LPN license in the state where employed.
• Compact licenses accepted where applicable.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver quality nursing care to an assigned patient group and reassess per unit protocol.
• Document findings clearly in the patient record and communicate with the care team.
• Implement care plans and administer medications as prescribed.
• Conduct bedside lab tests and assist with ADLs as needed.
