Oceans Behavioral Hospital Broussard is seeking a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse to provide nursing care for adults and seniors with anxiety, depression and other mental health needs in a multidisciplinary team.

You will document findings, implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and support patients with coping and safety. Prior inpatient experience and CPR/de-escalation training are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a valid LVN/LPN license in the practicing state.
• Compact licenses are acceptable where applicable.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience is strongly preferred.

• Delivers quality nursing care to assigned patients and reassesses per unit protocol under RN supervision.
• Documents findings accurately in patient records and communicates assessment data to the team.
• Implements care plans and performs nursing interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Administers medications safely and educates patients about medications.
• Follows up on patient care responsibilities and ensures continuity of care across disciplines.
• Provides leadership and precepts to new staff as assigned.
