Job summary

Eligible for up to $10,000 sign-on bonus; licensure in state with BLS certification required. 4 days/week schedule at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI, with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Graduates awaiting exam may practice under GPT or temporary license per state regulations.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines and evaluates patients.
• Establishes diagnosis, prognosis, and individualized plan of care.
• Implements treatment interventions based on plan of care.
• Directs and coordinates rehabilitation plan of care.
• Evaluates progress and revises goals as needed.
• Educates patients/caregivers and communicates discharge needs.
• Completes documentation and charges accurately and timely.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Master or Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Active Physical Therapist license

Active BLS certification
