Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to perform comprehensive patient examinations, establish diagnoses and prognosis, and develop individualized plans of care. You will implement treatments, evaluate progress, and coordinate discharge planning within Rhode Island Hospital.

Responsibilities include education of patients and caregivers, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure evidence-based practice and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Active Physical Therapist license in state of practice.
• Graduates may practice under GPT license or temporary license where allowed.
• Active BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients and establish diagnoses.
• Develop individualized care plans and prognoses.
• Implement and adjust treatment interventions.
• Coordinate rehabilitation plans and discharge needs.
• Document patient progress and maintain billing accuracy.
• Educate patients and caregivers on care plans.
