Job summary

Brown University Health in Fall River, MA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our clinical team. You will perform comprehensive examinations, determine functional impairments, establish diagnosis and prognosis, and develop an individualized plan of care with evidence-based interventions.

You will implement treatment, conduct ongoing evaluations, educate patients and caregivers, coordinate rehabilitation plans, and document progress in a timely, accurate manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active Physical Therapist license in state of practice.
• Graduates awaiting examination may practice under a GPT license or temporary license in certain states.

Responsibilities

• Examines and evaluates patients.
• Establishes diagnosis, prognosis, and individualized plans of care.
• Implements treatment interventions based on plan of care with appropriate precautions.
• Directs and coordinates patients' rehabilitation plan of care.
• Evaluates progress and revises goals and plans accordingly.
• Educates patients and caregivers; communicates discharge needs.
• Completes documentation and billing in compliance with policy.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals.
