Job summary

Qualifications

• Education required: accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Education preferred: Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• Experience required: inpatient clinical experience.
• Experience preferred: at least three months as inpatient PT.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial examination and develops a working treatment plan.
• Plans and implements individually designed treatment to improve function.
• Reevaluates progress and adjusts treatments to maximize benefit.
• Communicates results with patients and other clinicians.
• Documents prognosis, treatment, response, and discharge updates in EMR.
• Participates in discharge planning and staff meetings.
