Job summary

Stillwater Medical Center is seeking a full-time physical therapy (PT) professional to provide a full spectrum of therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning and interventions, within an interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, effective communication, and collaboration across disciplines, with a schedule that may include 5-8 or 4-10 hour shifts and occasional weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of physical therapy or occupational therapy with a Bachelor of Science Degree, or a master’s degree from a recognized program in Speech Pathology.
• Current license to practice in Oklahoma.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation procedures.
• Education/experience working with adult and geriatric populations is required.
• Education/experience with infants in NICU setting is preferred.
• Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to work with confused and aggressive patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and interventions.
• Demonstrate accountability for program development, quality improvement and productivity in a flexible interdisciplinary environment.
