Job summary

HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join our inpatient/acute care team. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement plans of care, and lead therapy services with cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include directing discipline-specific therapy, educating patients and families, and contributing to program development. Must hold state licensure and BLS certification; sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program meeting licensure requirements.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute on treatment plans as outlined by plan of care.
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services.
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and staff; contribute to interdisciplinary teams.
