Job summary

HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join the Inpatient/Acute Care Speech Therapy team.

You will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute on treatment plans aligned with the plan of care, and lead interdisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates hold a master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, be licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois, and possess current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in IL.
• Certified BLS or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute on treatment plans.
• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services.
• Educate patients, families, students, coworkers and self-professional advancement; engage in interdisciplinary teams.
