Job summary

HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our inpatient/acute care team. The ideal candidate will evaluate all assigned patients and develop and execute treatment plans per the plan of care, while delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services.

The role also includes educating patients, families, students, and colleagues to foster professional growth. We offer a sign-on bonus of $25,000 and compensation aligned with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program that meets licensure requirements.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice is required.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
• Illinois licensure within 1 year for individuals meeting all other requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute treatment plans per plan of care.
• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services.
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers and self-professional advancement.
• Engage and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
